Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, where you will be greeted by our safari representative and transferred to your hotel. After a briefing on the safari itinerary, you will have the option to take a city tour of Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing evening and overnight stay at a luxury lodge in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive. Enjoy a game drive in the park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Stop for a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your exploration of the diverse wildlife. In the evening, drive to Karatu for an overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 3: Karatu – Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

Begin your day with an early breakfast before driving to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive en route as you enter the vast Serengeti plains. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive in Central Serengeti, home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Conclude the day with an overnight stay at a tented camp in Serengeti.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive (Serengeti Wildebeest Migration – Northern Serengeti)

Spend the entire day following the Great Migration, witnessing thousands of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains. Experience the thrill of dramatic river crossings at the Mara River (seasonal, depending on migration patterns), where crocodiles and other predators lurk. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and wildlife encounters before returning to your luxury tented camp in Northern Serengeti for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti (Northern – Central) Game Drive

Continue tracking the migration as you explore different regions of Serengeti. The game drive will take you through diverse landscapes, offering incredible sightings of predators and herbivores alike. In the afternoon, return to Central Serengeti and settle in for an overnight stay at a luxury lodge.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti before departing for Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for an unforgettable Big Five safari experience, with opportunities to see lions, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, and leopards. Day 7: Karatu – Mto wa Mbu – Arusha & Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, drive back to Arusha. you’ll visit the nearby village of Mto wa Mbu, where a cultural tour offers a glimpse into Tanzania’s rich traditions and diverse tribal communities. You’ll have the chance to meet locals, visit markets, explore banana plantations, and learn about traditional crafts. The experience ends with a delicious Tanzanian lunch, prepared by the community, giving you a true taste of local flavors. In the afternoon, you’ll return to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 7-days safari.
