Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and be greeted by your guide. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha for check-in and rest. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the local markets or relax at the hotel. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive from Arusha. Upon arrival, embark on a full-day game drive in the park, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning baobab trees. Look out for wildlife such as lions, leopards, giraffes, and various bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, taking in the beautiful scenery. In the late afternoon, transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which takes about two and a half hours. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its breathtaking views and diverse wildlife. Spend the day on a game drive within the crater, where you can see the Big Five and other animals such as wildebeest, zebras, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your exploration. In the evening, ascend from the crater and drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, approximately a four-hour drive. Enter the park and embark on an afternoon game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the incredible wildlife that inhabits this vast landscape. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains. Enjoy dinner at your lodge or camp and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Mara River

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti, focusing on the Mara River area, where the dramatic river crossings take place during the migration. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, searching for predators like lions and leopards that follow the herds. Experience the thrill of witnessing the migration as animals cross the river in search of greener pastures. In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Serengeti – Arusha

On your final day, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for one last game drive or visit a local Maasai village. After lunch, drive back to Arusha, where you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
