Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take the day to relax and acclimate to your surroundings. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the local markets or enjoy a family dinner at the hotel. Overnight accommodation will be at a family-friendly hotel in Arusha.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and unique baobab trees. Enjoy a full day of game drives, where the whole family can spot wildlife like lions, giraffes, and a variety of birds. A picnic lunch will be provided in the park. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay, where the kids can enjoy nature walks or other activities.
Spend another day exploring Tarangire National Park. You can choose to go on an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active, or enjoy a guided walking safari suitable for families. After a fun day of wildlife watching, return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation, sharing stories of the day’s adventures.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive in time for a morning game drive, where your family can spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, then take part in a nature walk or visit a Maasai village to learn about local culture. In the evening, check into your accommodation near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight stay.
Following breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day adventure. The crater floor is teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery. After a day of exploring, ascend and head to your lodge for dinner and a restful night.
After breakfast, spend the morning relaxing at your lodge or participating in optional activities such as a guided walk in the highlands. In the afternoon, visit a local Maasai village for a cultural experience, where your family can learn about Maasai traditions, dances, and crafts. Return to your lodge for dinner and a final night in the Ngorongoro region.
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge, then drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time for last-minute shopping or exploring before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
