Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park 

Your safari adventure starts with an early morning pick-up from Arusha and a drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. In the afternoon, stop for a picnic lunch in the park, with scenic views of the Tarangire River, which attracts many animals. Continue exploring the park in the afternoon before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti national Park

After breakfast, you will depart for the famous Serengeti National Park, a journey that offers stunning views of the Tanzanian countryside and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route. You will arrive at the Serengeti in time for lunch at the lodge or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a thrilling game drive across the Serengeti plains, home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) and a host of other wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, and cheetahs. As the sun sets, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, the perfect time to spot predators hunting and witness the park’s breathtaking sunrise. After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive en route. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for an afternoon game drive. The crater is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, and flamingos around the crater lakes. After an incredible day of wildlife viewing, ascend from the crater and head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara – Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife, including flamingos. Enjoy a morning game drive, exploring the park’s varied landscapes and spotting wildlife like elephants, hippos, and baboons. After a picnic lunch by the lake, continue your exploration before departing for Arusha. You will arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 4-day classic Tanzania safari.
